The Art of Science & Love 2 workshop was designed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman for couples who have previously attended The Art and Science of Love workshop. Whether you want to build on your first experience for deeper comprehension or re-commit to your relationship after being “out of practice”, The Art and Science of Love 2 leads to a greater command of the skills needed for a strong relationship.
Through interactive exercises, role-plays, and presentations, you’ll be able to refresh and expand the skills previously learned, as well as deepen your connection with your partner. You will have the opportunity to work together, receive support from Anne, a Certified Gottman Therapist, and gain a fresh focus for meeting the challenges in your relationship in an intimate workshop setting.
ASL 2 Workshop Details

The Art & Science of Love 2 reinforces and expands those skills covered in the first workshop. You will receive additional instruction and practice in reducing the Four Horsemen, sharing Dreams Within Conflict, processing the Aftermath of a Fight, and using Softened Start-Ups to reduce defensiveness.
You will have the opportunity to talk about your current relationship issues such as finances or sexuality and learn new tools to enrich these areas in your relationship.
We will review the latest research on neurobiology and how that information can enhance your relationship with your partner.
The Art & Science of Love 2 furthers your ability to achieve a loving and fulfilling relationship with your partner.

Both days (10 AM-5 PM) include presentations, videos, and discussions on the content. Exercises, to be done with your partner, are designed to help put what you are learning into practice.
Break for lunch on your own each day.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel up to one week prior to your scheduled workshop, your payment will be refunded minus a $500 fee. No refunds with less than one week’s notice.
